We’re one of a number of Toastmasters Clubs spread throughout the world and
we cater for the 18+ age bracket (this is basically due
to current legislative requirements for working with youth).
People come along for various reasons but probably the most common is simply
that they want to overcome the very real fear of speaking in public.
It’s also about learning to communicate effectively.
Wouldn’t it be great if you are asked to be Best Man at a wedding, to be Master of Ceremonies (MC) at an event, or simply to speak or give a toast (or a roast) at a convention or party or the like, and you had the confidence to say "of course I will".
